Pediatric Gastroenterologist / Hepatologist

About the role

The Mayo Clinic Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist.

Responsibilities

• Care of children with pancreatic disorders and polyposis syndromes
• Care of children with IBD
• Care of children with liver conditions
• Advanced endoscopy
• Provides inpatient and outpatient care to children and adolescents with complex medical and surgical conditions
• Collaborates with the 90+ member, multispecialty Department of Pediatrics and with the 80 members of the adult Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division
• Works in close collaboration with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, including our Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship, Pediatric Residency, and Mayo Medical Students
• Pursues a NIH T-32 funded research path

Requirements

• Board certified/board eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Gastroenterology
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Minnesota
• Experience in teaching and clinical, basic, or translational research
• Excellent clinical skills
• Specialization in one or more of the following areas: pancreatic disorders, polyposis syndromes, advanced endoscopy

Pay

The minimum starting salary for medical specialties may range from $222,000 to $708,168. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
