Pediatric Gastroenterologist

About the role

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is recruiting a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical teaching of fellows, residents and medical students
• Support the teaching and clinical research missions of the division and department
• Physicians hired on the Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) track will participate in administrative and committee work
• Provide patient care at three UW Health Outpatient Clinics and bedside at the American Family Children’s Hospital and participating outreach locations

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Gastroenterology through the American Board of Pediatrics by the appointment start date
• Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Gastroenterology by the appointment start date
• Completion of an ACGME-approved pediatric residency program by the appointment start date
• Wisconsin medical license by the appointment start date
• Eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges by the appointment start date

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree

Skills

Schedule

This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
