About the role

As a Pediatric Feeding Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist), you will primarily provide evaluative, therapeutic, and consultative services to infants and children (ages 0–36 months) experiencing feeding difficulties. In addition to feeding, you will support a wide range of developmental needs within your professional scope of practice, including speech, language, sensory-motor, fine motor, or other areas of concern.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans for infants and children with feeding difficulties
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with families to support development through coaching, modeling, and reflection
  • Support children and families in natural environments (home, childcare, community) or via telehealth
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Document services provided according to established protocols

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington
  • Must provide own car and insurance that meets state minimum insurance requirements
  • Two (2+) or more years’ experience working with children
  • Ability to collaborate with families using a coaching model that supports parent-child interaction and daily routines
  • Serve children and families in natural environments (home, childcare, community) or via telehealth
  • Knowledge of infant feeding and child development for children 0-5 years
  • Interest or experience working with children who are tube-fed and/or weaning from a feeding tube preferred
  • Commitment to providing equitable services to families who are linguistically and racially diverse
  • Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff, families, and community partners
  • Candidates with experience providing services with non-English speaking families and/or infant mental health desired

Qualifications

  • Current CPR and first aid certifications
  • Complete bloodborne pathogens and HIV training

$36.97 - $52.92 per hour

Schedule

Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 16-24 hours per week (Wednesdays Required)
