Speech Therapist / Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatric Specialty Care
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement pediatric speech therapy services in accordance with clinical, regulatory, and facility standards
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and ongoing therapy for speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable, functional goals
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members to support each child’s communication and safety
- Recommend and train on adaptive equipment, feeding strategies, and alternative or augmentative communication tools as appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge planning
- Participate in quality assurance, education, and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, unencumbered Pennsylvania license as a Speech Therapist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Pediatric experience preferred; medically complex or long-term care experience a plus
