Pediatric Endocrinologist
About the role
We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist (BC/BE in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Endocrinology) to join our dynamic and growing group consisting of 5 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners. This position includes both outpatient care and an inpatient service. We have a multidisciplinary team that includes RN nurse educators, dieticians, social work, and behavioral health. We welcome applications from candidates with special interest these areas: thyroid cancer, bone disease, transgender medicine, and type 1 diabetes including automated insulin delivery systems, and diabetes research. Opportunities to work in Cleveland Clinic sites abroad are available.
Responsibilities
Teaching opportunities abound, with pediatric residents and medical students from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, and the School of Medicine at Case. Academic appointment through the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case provides further opportunities for academic, research and clinical development. Advanced training and graduate degree programs in leadership, healthcare administration, and education are available and encouraged.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Specialty interests in thyroid cancer, bone disease, transgender medicine, and type 1 diabetes including automated insulin delivery systems, and diabetes research
- Opportunities to work in Cleveland Clinic sites abroad
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology
- Experience in teaching and mentoring pediatric residents and medical students
- Strong interest in research and academic development
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of endocrinology and related fields

Pay
Minimum salary: $172,500
Maximum salary: $259,750
