Role Overview: Seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage, supporting a high-volume emergency department. Responsibilities: Cover emergency shifts (day and night), manage an annual volume of approximately 60,000 patients, and utilize Meditech EMR. Ensure patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills: Must have Pediatric Emergency Medicine experience, with a minimum of 1.5-2 years in emergency, urgent care, or pediatric inpatient settings. Board certified or eligible; new graduates are welcome. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Key Duties: Provide acute care, collaborate with backup specialists, and adhere to certification standards. EMR documentation and maintaining high standards of pediatric emergency care are essential.
