Pediatric Critical Care Transport Nurse

Role Overview This position involves providing comprehensive pediatric and newborn transport services within a critical care team. Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while promoting family-centered care, patient safety, and quality standards. The role requires developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating families on managing illnesses and post-treatment needs. Key Responsibilities Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients, considering cultural and personal values.Ensure effective communication of care plans across the continuum of care.Participate in professional development and activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Skills Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; Bachelor’s preferred.Licensure: Valid RN license.Experience: 3+ years in pediatric transport, ICU, ER, CICU, or neonatal ICU; 5 years preferred.Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
