Pediatric Cardiology Nocturnist (NP)

About the Role

This full-time nocturnist position provides overnight care to pediatric cardiology patients, including those with heart failure, transplant, electrophysiology, and post-operative conditions. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity, academic environment, utilizing Epic EMR, and managing complex cases without performing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver overnight inpatient care for pediatric cardiology patients
• Work rotating night shifts (6 PM–6 AM) with weekend rotations
• Coordinate with nursing, respiratory therapy, social work, nutrition, pharmacy, and child life teams
• Utilize electronic medical records to document and manage patient care

Requirements

• Preferred: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, experienced Physician Assistants, or qualified new graduates
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Pediatric cardiology knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
