About the Role
Provide overnight care in a high-acuity pediatric cardiology setting as a Pediatric Cardiology Nocturnist APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).
Responsibilities
- Manage complex post-operative and medically admitted pediatric cardiology patients, including heart failure, transplant, and electrophysiology cases.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising nursing, respiratory therapy, social work, nutrition, pharmacy, and child life.
- Provide direct overnight patient care during 13 night shifts per 4-week cycle with rotating weekends.
- Utilize Epic EMR; no procedures required.
Requirements
- Preferred: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or experienced Physician Assistant; new graduates considered.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
