Pediatric Cardiac Operating Room and Cath/EP Lab - Nurse Manager

Responsibilities

Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned inpatient unit.

Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments.

Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (MSN or related field) is preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive leadership and clinical experience in pediatric cardiology, OR, or critical care, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Qualifications

• Strong clinical background in pediatric cardiac care
• Proven management skills, emphasizing the advancement of patient care

Skills

• Collaborates with senior leadership to achieve departmental goals
• Manages human resource functions
• Upholds standards of care in pediatric cardiac care and OR procedures

• Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Pay

• $105,706.00 - $137,426.00
