About the role
We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join a specialized Cardiac ICU team.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care for pediatric patients in a dedicated 14-bed Cardiac ICU.
- Manage patients undergoing congenital cardiac surgeries and related procedures.
- Collaborate with established ECMO and congenital cardiac catheterization programs.
- Contribute to a high-acuity, team-oriented clinical environment focused on excellent patient outcomes.
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based pediatric cardiac critical care.
- Work within a supportive, collegial team emphasizing work-life balance and sustainable workload.
- Engage in a program with a strong clinical reputation, including congenital heart surgery and ECMO services.
- Participate in a facility affiliated with academic institutions, promoting ongoing education and research.
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and/or Pediatric Cardiology.
- Additional CICU-focused training or eligibility for dual board certification is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric cardiac critical care and teamwork.
