Pediatric Cardiac ICU Advanced Practice Provider

Job Summary

HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children’s is seeking two Advanced Practice Providers to join their growing Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.

Qualified Candidates

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current licensure and certification (BLS and PALS required; ACLS preferred)
• Clinical experience in Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of complex patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Manage medications and therapies
• Participate in daily rounds
• Respond to emergencies
• Provide procedural support as needed
• Facilitate communication with families
• Contribute to care coordination
• Ensure smooth transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings

Qualifications

Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills

Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings

Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call coverage
