About the Role

Seeking a full‑time Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Physician to join a dedicated pediatric critical care team within a 32‑bed PICU at a freestanding children’s hospital. The hospital is located in a vibrant waterfront community known for its rich culture, educational opportunities, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for general PICU and cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and grow a specialized pediatric cardiac ICU.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring within Virginia’s largest pediatric residency program.
• Share a 1:9 call schedule covering PICU and cardiac patients.

Requirements

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in pediatric critical care or cardiology.

Qualifications
