About the role

The role involves providing pediatric cardiac critical care as part of a multidisciplinary team, serving the regional pediatric population with a focus on complex congenital and acquired heart conditions.

Responsibilities

• Counseling and educating patients and families about health conditions and treatments
• Documenting care according to standards
• Participating in staff and student education
• Obtaining patient history and performing assessments
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic studies
• Delivering direct treatment, managing conditions, and engaging in discharge planning
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant, Licensed RN, or Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Texas
• Experience with pediatric cardiac patients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork skills

Pay

Salary starts at $120,000+.
