Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist

About the role

We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist with pediatric fellowship training and cardiac experience to provide perioperative care for over 500 pediatric cardiac cases annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric cardiac cases, including VAD and heart transplants.
• Manage complex physiology in patients of all ages with congenital or acquired heart conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Participate in cardiac catheterizations, interventional cardiology, and consultations for non-cardiac surgeries involving cardiac patients.
• Supervise trainees and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Handle hemodynamic monitoring, resuscitation, and ensure patient stability.
• Provide coverage during scheduled shifts, including pager call requirements on weeknights and weekends.

Requirements

• Oklahoma medical license, OBNDD, and DEA certifications.
• Completion of a Pediatric fellowship and pediatric cardiac anesthesia experience.
• Ability to manage complex cases, monitor hemodynamics, and work effectively in a team setting.

Schedule

Willingness to work 5 shifts per month, primarily 10-hour shifts starting early morning.
