About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic pedagogical professional to join our after-school care (BSO) team. For BSO Werelds, we seek a colleague to strengthen our team on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons. Do you want to provide children with a fun, safe, and inspiring afternoon after school? BSO Kindcentrum Werelds is part of Kindcentrum Werelds, where childcare and education collaborate under one roof. Together with teachers, we create a trusted, safe, and stimulating environment for children to develop optimally. At our BSO, we care for children up to age 9 in two modern groups, offering a varied daily activity programme and plenty of outdoor play. As the first Talentfluisteraarcentrum (Talent Whisperer Centre) in the Netherlands, we help children discover their talents—not by focusing on what they excel in, but by identifying what brings them energy and joy. This contributes to their self-confidence, resilience, and development.

• Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons (full days during school holidays and study days)
• Hours per week: 14

Requirements

As a pedagogical professional, you enjoy every moment with the children and are committed to providing them with a pleasant and educational day. You are responsible for the daily care of young children and must hold a diploma qualifying you to work in after-school care (BSO), such as:

• Pedagogical assistant (MBO level 3)
• Specialised pedagogical assistant
• Teaching assistant
• Social work (MBO level 4)
• HBO Pedagogy, Social Work, or PABO (primary education teaching degree)
• Creative qualifications (e.g., sports and movement, music, or theatre—additional qualifications may be required)

Additionally, you must:

• Meet the language requirement 2F (oral skills) and have demonstrably achieved at least a 5.5 score
• Be friendly, engaged, and flexible with children and colleagues
• Easily connect with children and their parents
• Work well in a team and enjoy contributing ideas for improvement
