PEAK - General Maintenance Specialist - Tulsa

About the role

Performs a variety of duties involving general facilities maintenance. Performs routine maintenance and repair to facilities under minimal supervision in areas such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, food service equipment, landscape, paint, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties such as basic plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, swimming pool maintenance and repair, paint, carpentry, and landscape activities
• Clean the work area
• Identify emergency repairs beyond skill level and summon on-call assistance using defined procedures
• Perform minor equipment repair
• Complete required forms and logs
• Perform tasks using small hand tools and power equipment
• Perform various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position

Qualifications

• No formal education or experience required
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
• Ability to update written records, including computerized records
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) to drive University vehicles
• Must pass a background check

Pay

Targeted salary up to $18.27 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm
