PDS - Customer Service Representative (Charlotte, NC)

We install, service, and maintain automatic doors, manual doors, and door hardware for hospitals, universities, retail stores, government buildings, and commercial facilities. Our team is built on excellent customer service, attention to detail, and meeting each client’s unique needs.

We’re hiring a Customer Service Representative for our Charlotte, NC branch. This is a phone-focused role. You’ll be the first voice our customers hear, and you’ll own the phone line, making sure every call is handled, logged in NetSuite, and routed to the right person. Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming customer and service calls promptly and professionally
• Route calls to managers and team members, including other branches as needed
• Enter and update customer calls, service requests, and contact info in NetSuite
• Look up customer accounts, job status, and service history to answer questions on the spot
• Take detailed messages and make sure every call gets a follow-up
• Return voicemails and callbacks in a timely manner
• Keep call records accurate and up to date

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of call center, receptionist, or customer service experience
• Strong phone presence and customer service skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls while staying friendly and organized
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to stay calm with frustrated callers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• NetSuite experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience in a commercial door, construction, or field service environment
