PCU Nursing Assistant, Full-Time

About the role

The Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse. The Nursing Assistant functions under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient cares such as bathing, hygiene, elimination, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning.
• Support patient safety and patient satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds on the nursing unit.
• Effectively communicate with all team members.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification (Various).
