Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs basic patient care services and supports activities within ambulatory services. PCTs are multi-skilled to provide expanded services under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical professional. This position requires a self-motivated, independent, and compassionate individual who can adapt to a dynamic work environment.

About the Role

Join our clinic and be part of this amazing team! Our Pediatric Cardiology Clinic cares for patients with congenital heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and other cardiac concerns. The role involves taking patient vital signs, rooming patients for providers, cleaning and stocking patient treatment rooms, and assisting the provider and nursing team as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Taking patient vital signs
  • Rooming patients for providers
  • Cleaning and stocking patient treatment rooms
  • Aiding providers and nursing team as needed

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of six months' experience preferred
  • Experience in a clinic setting preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred

Qualifications

  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
  • If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a CNA, must be registered as a Nursing Assistant (NA) through the North Dakota Department of Health within four months from the date of initial employment

Pay & Schedule

$16.00 - $23.00 per hour
$2,500 Sign On Bonus available for Qualified Candidates!
