Responsibilities

• Aid providers with patient care
• Ensure patient is properly prepared for the provider’s visit
• Verify and obtain relevant information with the patient
• Complete any necessary follow-up for the patient or provider
• Utilize all necessary techniques for medical devices and equipment
• Be knowledgeable about the operation and condition of all medical devices and equipment
• Be knowledgeable about clinical systems, protocols, policies, and procedures
• Prepare and obtain laboratory specimens for testing
• Clean exam/procedure rooms and maintain equipment between patients and at the end of the day
• Document cleaning and maintenance activities
• Maintain a clean work area
• Prepare patient rooms and stock supplies or facilitate supply restocking
• Effectively troubleshoot minor problems
• Notify appropriate personnel of equipment malfunctions and repairs
• Be flexible with changing department and organizational needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a clinical training program, and/or work experience in Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), EKG Tech, or related field
• CPR certified
• Prior experience in face-to-face customer service environment preferred

Pay

$18.00-$25.82 per hour
