PCS Field Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a caring Field Supervisor to join AdvantageCare and Assistcare PCS. The Field Supervisor supervises the delivery of personal care services ensuring clients receive service according to authorized tasks and hours.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with employees, case managers and clients in a professional and effective manner
• Specializes in educational training designed to prepare attendants to meet client specific needs based on diagnosis
• Attends Team Meetings and/or training as required
• Available to provide services to clients if back-up PCA is not available
• Schedules according to service plans, authorized hours and required days per week
• Completes initial evaluation of assistance needed by client to achieve activities of daily living
• Ensures attendants understand Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) by demonstration
• Works with HR supporting attendants to improve
• Performs other responsibilities, related activities, assignments, duties, and projects as assigned

Requirements

• A high school diploma or General Equivalence Degree (G.E.D.) required, an associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of Personal Care Services (Medicaid) and state requirements
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift 50+ pounds, and move intermittently

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse (RN) in good standing; OR have completed at least two years (60 credit hours) of college-level education
• One (1) year's management or supervisory experience for a healthcare provider may be substituted for each required year of college
