Responsibilities

- Supervise installation and manage personnel, resources, and materials.
- Plan, organize, and direct personnel, resources, and materials.
- Read and interpret floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate project requirements and validate Scope of Work (SOW) and project plan.
- Work with Scheduling Administrator to maintain a 2-5 week look-ahead schedule.
- Accurate reporting of project status to Scheduling Administrator.
- Define project compliant equipment and materials.
- Track, trend, and solve recurring issues.
- Develop and anchor standard operating procedures.
- Perform duties in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance.
- Manage workload and provide performance feedback.
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- OSHA 30 within the first 2 weeks in the role.
- BICSI Installer 2 Copper preferred.
- BICSI Installer 2 Fiber preferred.
- BICSI Certified Technician, must be earned within 12 months in role.
- Minimum 3-6 years work experience in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction experience.
- Minimum 3 years of supervision and/or training experience.
- Obtain company-approved (manufacturer) certifications.
- Obtain BICSI RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager).
- Ability to supervise and train employees.
- Understand and effectively explain every aspect of the structured cabling system.
- Develop and anchor standard operating procedures.
- Work independently and in a team setting.

Schedule
The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so.
