PCG Loan Portfolio Manager- Senior

As an integral part of the Huntington Private Client Group, the PCG Loan Portfolio Manager - Senior develops and maintains profitable commercial loan relationships to businesses and individuals in PFG within lending limits (larger loans go through commercial lending) including loan renewals.

Responsibilities

• Identify needs, develop fundamental loan recommendations (including cross-sales), negotiate loan terms, approve/coordinate approval of loans, monitor portfolio risk, and research basic business issues.
• Spread and underwrite business and personal tax returns.
• Administer PFG loan portfolio by following up on financial statements, exceptions, past due loans, changes in borrower's financial condition, and loan reporting.
• Ensure portfolio administration complies with Credit Policy, including timely recognition for watch list, non-accrual, and charge-offs.
• Collaborate closely with PFG Relationship Managers and other team members to satisfy customer's consumer and commercial loan needs, including active participation in all sales of PFG loan products.
• Work with loans of moderate to high complexity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Commercial Loan or Private Banking underwriting and Portfolio Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or an additional 2 years of Commercial Loan or Private Banking underwriting and Portfolio Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Consumer Lending experience.
• Personal Tax Cash Flow analysis training and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in MS Suite and the Internet.

Schedule

Exempt status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay).
