Senior Portfolio Manager, Lender Finance

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor assigned portfolio of lender finance credit facilities focusing on borrower's financial performance via a variety of borrowing base (“BB”) and other financial reports.
  • Lead agented LF transactions for accuracy and completeness, addressing any deficiencies in the BBs.
  • Monitor and analyze performance of underlying collateral assets supporting BBs.
  • Establish and maintain monthly/quarterly reporting and covenant ticklers post-closing, upon review of legal documentation.
  • Review monthly and quarterly BB’s and compliance certificates to ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Participate in annual or other interim lender update/ due diligence calls related to assigned credits.
  • Maintain borrower credit files and credit administration on Bank’s platform.
  • Ensure appropriate borrower risk rating for assigned credits.
  • Prepare internal portfolio review memos to senior credit executives including quarterly dashboards and annual reviews as well as assist on internal and external audit reviews.
  • Prepare and execute all amendments/waivers for existing borrowers including review of legal documentation.
  • Work on projects related to improvement of the Group’s portfolio management/monitoring process as needed.

Qualifications

  • A BS/BA, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
  • 7-10 years of work experience in a Finance/Banking-related position.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial statements and models.
  • Ability to work well with others and on teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Portfolio management experience at an investment bank or other financial institution.
  • Middle market leveraged loan experience.
  • Experience working for an institution that has been a Lead agent in lending transactions.
  • Financial modeling experience.
  • Graduate of a formalized credit training program.

Pay

The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000.00 to $185,000.00 annually. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
