Responsibilities

• Performs advanced and time-intensive scheduling tasks to support complex surgeries and/or imaging and procedures outside of current clinics such as hospital or OP radiology center.
• To be defined as advanced and time-intensive, 75% or more of the employee's time must be spent completing the following scheduling tasks:
• Cases performed in an ambulatory surgery center or inpatient setting
• Cordination of multiple specialties
• Cordination of pre-operation and post-operation testing/clearance
• Coordination of complex, sequential treatment appointments including clinical trials and standard of care patients
• Coordination of transplant related work up and evaluations for donors and patients
• Serves as the primary point of care for these patients and their families
• Additional duties may include:
• Registering or scheduling new patients and return visits
• Scheduling ancillary appointments and imaging and procedures within their local clinic

Requirements

• 6 months of healthcare scheduling experience is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
