PCB Inspector Support II - AOI (2nd Shift)

Position Summary

As an AOI Inspector, you will play a crucial role in operating and overseeing AOI (YesTech Automated Optical Inspection), X-Ray (YesTech X-Ray) machine and performing Visual inspection using Microscope to ensure accurate detection of defects or abnormalities in printed circuit boards, electronic components, and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Operate YesTech Automated Optical Inspection and X-Ray machine.
• Examine documents such as Assembly Instruction (AI) and change order (CO) and verify their completeness and accuracy.
• First Piece: Inspect first piece by running populated PCB through AOI and X-Ray machine and perform Visual inspection.
• Review and fill out first piece documentation.
• Notify appropriate personnel when discrepancies are found.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience running the AOI and X-Ray machine.
• Familiar with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
• Familiar with Electronic Component Identification.
• Experience using personal computer and working knowledge of Microsoft software including Windows & Office.

Skills

• Ability to work overtime including weekends as needed to meet customer needs and on time delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to collaborate across different departments and levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in electronics manufacturing.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

Pay

The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
