About the role
The candidate will perform quality control inspections on hardware, focusing on solder joint inspection of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and mixed technology hardware, as well as mechanical hardware. They must be able to clearly communicate and document inspection results, read and interpret engineering documentation, and adjust to changing priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
- Perform solder joint inspection of SMT and mixed technology hardware
- Inspect and measure mechanical hardware
- Communicate and document inspection results clearly
- Read and interpret engineering documentation
- Adjust to changing priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment
- Pass IPC J-STD inspection certification testing
- Sit and operate an inspection microscope for long periods (up to 10 hour shifts)
- Support overtime and weekend work
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least 5 years of Quality Inspection experience
