PCB Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electro-optical systems for NASA and DoD projects.
- Handle circuit board development and firmware (FPGA & CPU) creation.
- Participate in board and system-level integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Engage in multiple concurrent projects, balancing short-term and long-term objectives.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure project success.
Essential Skills
- 3-8 years of applicable work experience in electrical engineering.
- Proficient in circuit board design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with field tests and experiments.
- Familiarity with electrical lab equipment as part of embedded system development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with FPGA/CPLD design, simulation, and troubleshooting.
- Embedded CPU/Microcontroller firmware development expertise.
- Experience with LIDAR systems.
- Knowledge of PCB design using Altium.

Our 50,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility includes 34 Class IV laser firing labs, electronics labs, wet labs, optical receiver labs, chemical labs, and a NASA-certified in-house printed circuit board assembly lab. This is a Contract position based out of Herndon, VA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
