About the role

Wallick Senior Living is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team at Oakleaf Village and The Grove. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $16/hour plus shift differential, along with a unique benefit package including health, dental, vision insurance, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents, including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident and family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
• Absorb and assist residents to and from activities, dining rooms, and other functions within the community.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Organized and self-motivated.
• CPR certified. Nurse Aide certification is preferred but not required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.
