About the role
Personal Care Aide responsible for providing in‑home care to clients, following care plans, and supporting clients' self‑help needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation, feeding, oral hygiene, transfers, and use of care equipment
- Encourage client independence while ensuring safety and confidentiality
- Complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets, maintain a clean and safe environment, and notify supervisors of any concerns or changes in client condition
- Perform secondary tasks such as laundry, light cleaning, and grocery shopping within the scope of the care plan (no medication administration)
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, respecting client rights and privacy
- Report any abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions immediately
