About the role

Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a Live-in caregiver to provide comprehensive support to senior clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house
• Assist client with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
• Absorb shopping errands
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents

Requirements

• Own vehicle to get to and from clients
• Must have reliable transportation
• Attention to detail
• Home Health Aide - PCA - LNA certification
• Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently
• Good time management skills
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics

Pay

Salary: $240 - $360 a day

Schedule

LIVE-IN RATES: (WORK WEEK= Monday- Sunday. Day 1 starts first day worked of the week)
- Live-in are paid 16 hours a 24hr shift and then have 8 hours of unpaid rest.
- Caregivers should be getting 8 hours of rest at night.
- Live-in Caregivers will have a sleeping area separate from the client and access to bath/shower area.
- Clients are responsible for providing food. If this is not possible, caregiver will be reimbursed a $10 a day meal stipend.
