Job Summary

We are currently seeking energetic, experienced, and caring Certified Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and Home Health Aide (HHA) professionals to serve a diverse community in Newburgh, NY. Multilingual candidates are welcome.

What You'll Do

• Help clients live safely and comfortably at home
• Safely use assistive equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, etc.
• Support clients' physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Provide compassionate personal care and companionship
• Follow care plans and timely complete required documentation

Requirements

• Valid HHA or PCA Certificate
• Physical exam form signed and dated by a physician
• Drug screening
• Rubella & Rubeola (immunization documentation or Titers)
• TB screening- provide a negative QuantiFeron test, (if positive, requires a chest Xray)
• Past Agency employment verification or two professional reference letters
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Valid government-issued ID and Social Security documentation
• Reliable transportation to commute to clients’ homes

Qualifications

• Experience as a CDPAP personal assistant may qualify for an ACD class leading to a PCA certificate
