About the role

Bronx, NY is seeking energetic, experienced, and caring Certified Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes.

Responsibilities

- Help clients live safely and comfortably at home - Support clients' physical, emotional, and social well-being - Provide compassionate personal care and companionship - Safely use assistive equipment (Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, etc.) - Follow care plans and timely complete required documentation

Qualifications

- Valid HHA or PCA Certificate - If you have experience as a CDPAP personal assistant, you may qualify for an ACD class where you can earn a PCA certificate. Complete the application and ask your recruiter. - Physical exam form signed and dated by a physician - Drug screening - Rubella & Rubeola (immunization documentation or Titers) - TB screening - provide a negative QuantiFer-on test (if positive, requires a chest X-ray) - Past agency employment verification or two professional reference letters - Ability to pass a criminal background check - Valid government-issued ID and Social Security documentation - Reliable transportation to commute to clients' homes
