About the role

Personal Care Aide responsible for providing essential in-home care services to clients under the supervision of the Home Care Manager.

Responsibilities

• Follow client-specific care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assist with basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal preparation, feeding, and oral hygiene.
• Use proper safety precautions, infection control procedures, and respect client confidentiality and privacy.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, notify supervisors of any hazards or changes in client condition.
• Support clients with self-help activities, encourage independence, and assist with limited transfers and use of equipment.
• Only assist with medication self-administration, never administer medications directly.
• Report any abuse, neglect, unsafe environments, or privacy violations immediately.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication, adherence to safety standards, and ability to follow care plans.
