About the role
Personal Care Aide providing in-home care services to clients.
Responsibilities
- Follow client care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
- Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, and meal preparation, including special diets.
- Provide limited transfers, use mobility equipment, and encourage client self-help.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and a clean environment; report hazards or changes in client condition.
- Respect client confidentiality, privacy, and rights.
- Assist with household tasks like laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
- Monitor client safety; only assist with medication self-administration and avoid tasks beyond scope or not in care plans.
- Report suspected abuse, neglect, unsafe living conditions, or privacy violations.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
- At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Ability to provide compassionate, quality care while respecting client boundaries and safety protocols.
