PC Technician with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and help desk support for SOMTC classrooms.
• Support Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve workstation, software, and peripheral issues.
• Ensure systems meet security, configuration, and operational standards.
• Document support actions and update incident/ticketing systems.
• Aid SOMTC staff in maintaining a reliable, secure, and mission ready IT environment.

Qualifications

• Achieve an Associate degree in an IT-related field or have 4 years of professional experience.
• Hold DCWF Client Systems Technician (411) at Basic level.
• Understand networking concepts and protocols.
• Be knowledgeable about cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Have knowledge of physical components and IT architecture.
• Be familiar with system operation, maintenance, and security.
• Be skilled in troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Be able to configure and validate workstations.
• Be capable of documenting and querying incidents.
• Be proficient in interoperability of Army/Joint Mission Command systems and IT support in an Enterprise environment.
