Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop hardware for users across the site.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving computers, peripherals, and other associated hardware components.
- Set up and organize cabling for workstations, devices, and related equipment to maintain safe and reliable connectivity.
- Perform hardware replacements, upgrades, and basic repair tasks on supported systems and accessories.
- Provide technical support for Dell Technologies and Apple devices, including initial setup and ongoing troubleshooting.
- Test equipment after installation or repair to confirm proper performance and user readiness.
- Track completed work, device status, and hardware inventory to support efficient operations.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience supporting computer hardware in a technical or desktop support environment.
- Working knowledge of associated hardware such as monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and peripheral devices.
- Practical experience with cable installation and workstation connectivity best practices.
- Familiarity with Dell Technologies systems and hardware support procedures.
- Experience working with Apple devices in a business or support setting.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues methodically and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented, service-oriented approach when assisting users.
