Responsibilities
- Installs and de-installs computers and associated hardware.
- Installs and de-installs computer software applications.
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, repairs or arranges for the repair of computers, printers, and peripheral equipment.
- Maintains accurate inventory of all computer equipment and parts; maintaining records of repairs and services.
- Prepares legacy equipment for e-waste recycling.
- Performs equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and equipment upgrade and modification activities.
- Works with contract and vendor-supplied personnel engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer equipment.
- Installs and repairs Warehouse/Distribution Center equipment.
- Schedules, connects, and troubleshoots Audio/Visual requests.
- Works with the Telecomm team to maintain and repair telephone equipment.
- Works with System Administrators to maintain and make changes (as recommended and approved) to server equipment.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Certification in a technical field (e.g., A+ and/or MCDST).
- Be willing and able to work flexible hours; occasional weekend and night work.
- Be able to multitask work activities, good communicator, and work under pressure.
- Must be responsible, reliable, and disciplined.
