PC LAN Technician I (Desktop Refresh Project) Phoenix, AZ (On-Site) We are seeking a PC LAN Technician I to support a large-scale desktop refresh initiative. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in desktop support, hardware deployment, imaging, break/fix troubleshooting, and end-user support. The technician will assist with the deployment, configuration, inventory tracking, and support of laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripheral equipment across multiple locations. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Compensation $20.00 - $22.00 per hourWeekly payBenefits may be available depending on employment status Contract Duration Start Date: November 2026End Date: June 2027Approximately 8-month contract assignmentPotential for extension and/or conversion to a permanent position based on performance, project needs, and budget approval Responsibilities Image and reimage laptops and desktopsDeploy and configure Windows devices and peripheralsPerform hardware installations, upgrades, and break/fix supportConduct quality assurance testing of deployed equipmentTrack incoming and outgoing inventoryUpdate asset management records and maintain documentationSupport end users with first-time setup activitiesTroubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, and account-related issuesAssist with device recycling and asset disposition activitiesWork with project teams to coordinate device deployment schedulesMaintain accurate records within ticketing and asset management systems Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of desktop support, help desk, deployment, or PC technician experienceExperience supporting Windows 10 and/or Windows 11 environmentsKnowledge of Active DirectoryExperience with hardware troubleshooting and repairsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesExperience using enterprise ticketing systemsAbility to lift, move, and transport computer equipment as required Preferred Qualifications Experience with ServiceNowExperience with SCCM/MECM deploymentsAsset management or inventory control experienceIMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) experiencePrevious desktop refresh or device deployment project experience Work Environment 100% onsite positionStandard business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMLocal travel between multiple work locations may be required Ideal Background Candidates With Experience As a Desktop Support TechnicianPC TechnicianIT Support SpecialistDeployment TechnicianField Support TechnicianHelp Desk TechnicianIMAC TechnicianHardware Support Technician Apply today if you enjoy hands-on technical work, supporting end users, and being part of a large technology deployment project. #INDEPI
