About the role

The PC Deployment Technician is responsible for performing and overseeing a wide variety of warehouse, inventory, delivery, and technical support duties as a key member of our lifecycle services team. This position is primarily responsible for all activities related to lifecycle deployments, including warehouse operations, inventory management, asset tracking, prep/staging/surplus, and product shipment/delivery. The role requires a process-driven mentality, strong work ethic, adaptability, a positive attitude, and the ability to perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, responsive, high-quality services to all customers.
  • Maintain professional appearance and organization of warehouse, production areas, vehicles, and workspaces.
  • Perform logistics and lifecycle services tasks such as inventory, loading/unloading trucks/vans, deliveries, deployment/installation/removal of equipment, surplus, and related paperwork.
  • Organize inventory and client devices based on status, type, and deployment schedule to support efficient prep/staging of devices.
  • Prep/stage equipment for shipment/delivery, ensuring accurate counts, labeling, packaging, and adherence to paperwork standards.
  • Accurately and efficiently deliver, install, and remove equipment at client sites as directed by project leads and managers.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards in all work performed.
  • Ensure accurate product counts, labeling, packaging, and paperwork standards are maintained.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of inventory status, movement, and activities in company systems/databases.
  • Assist other team members as needed to balance workloads and meet project deadlines.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of related experience with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s license with a clean driving record (subject to DMV and background checks).
  • Physical ability to carry up to 25-50 lbs repeatedly, stand, bend, kneel, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Experience and demonstrated aptitude for space planning, organization, and inventory movement.
  • Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and web browsers.
  • Experience using serialized barcode scanning and data entry systems.
  • Extreme attention to detail, particularly in inventory and documentation accuracy.
  • Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and workflow skills.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with limited direct supervision.
  • Business-professional verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule

The work schedule varies based on client project schedules and requires periodic overnight travel and extended work hours. The position typically works 40 hours per week, with 25-50%+ of hours outside normal business hours (8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday). Estimated travel is typically 15-25% but may require up to 50-75%.
