Pc Deployment Technician

About the role

The PC Deployment Technician will support a large‑scale PC refresh project that was kicked off earlier in the year. This role focuses on preparing, imaging, configuring, and deploying new Windows devices to end users. The technician will assist employees with transferring data, accounts, and settings to their new systems. They will work directly with users across all organizational levels, requiring strong communication and professionalism. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to daily operations. The technician will collaborate closely with the existing IT team to maintain accuracy, security, and efficiency throughout the deployment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, image, configure, and deploy new Windows devices to end users.
• Assist employees with transferring data, accounts, and settings to their new systems.
• Work directly with users across all organizational levels, providing strong communication and professionalism.
• Collaborate with the existing IT team to maintain accuracy, security, and efficiency throughout the deployment.
• Ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to daily operations.

Requirements

• Contract position based out of Nashville, TN (fully onsite).
• Intermediate level experience.
• Ability to follow structured deployment processes and document work clearly.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Accurate documentation and spreadsheet proficiency.
• Polished professionalism when working with users up to director level.
• Experience with hardware setup and troubleshooting (beneficial).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and basic IT support workflows (helpful).
