Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of new ERP system implementation for Payroll and Timekeeping functionality, including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Serve as the Cloud ERP expert for the Payroll and Timekeeping area, aligning system design with business processes and goals.
- Partner closely with HR/Payroll leaders at campus and MU Health Care to understand business needs and translate into ERP specifications and requirements. Champion organizational change by promoting adoption of new payroll processes, tools, and policies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline payroll processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance accuracy. Identify and implement innovative solutions leveraging HR/ERP technologies, automation, and analytics.
- Partner with technical leads to ensure integration design, data quality and security are aligned to business needs and best practices. Manages the validation of conversion data to the new system.
- Lead initiatives to document business processes, functional specs, test cases, and user guides. Assist with training plans and content validation.
- Lead initiatives to troubleshoot issues and provide clearly documented solutions.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of Payroll reporting and dashboards.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and five years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Payroll Professional from the American Payroll Association, Experience working in the Higher Education and Healthcare industries, Experience with Absence Management, Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams, Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Strong customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills, 5 years’ experience with Payroll in Workday or Oracle.
Qualifications
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Anticipated Hiring Range: Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
