Payroll Supervisor

About the role

Martignetti Companies, the leading distributor of wine and spirits in New England, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day payroll operations for the organization while leading and supporting the payroll team. This role will serve as a working supervisor - balancing hands-on payroll processing responsibilities with team leadership, process oversight, compliance, reporting, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day payroll operations for the organization
• Lead and support the payroll team
• Balance hands-on payroll processing with team leadership
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
• Maintain compliance with payroll laws and company policies
• Support payroll system administration
• Help drive continuous improvement within payroll operations

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll operations

• Knowledge of payroll compliance and regulations

Pay

Salary range: $85,000-$95,000

Schedule

Hybrid work schedule - three days per week in the Taunton office and two remote workdays
