About The Role The Payroll Specialist I at KinderCare Learning Companies plays a vital role in supporting the payroll operations for a large workforce of approximately 45,000 employees. This position involves processing biweekly and weekly payrolls using the Workday ERP system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of payroll. The Payroll Specialist I will serve as a key point of contact for employees, addressing payroll-related inquiries through various channels such as ServiceNow, email, and Slack. Additionally, this role involves assisting with payroll adjustments, supporting system testing and improvements, and maintaining detailed documentation of payroll procedures. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit to contribute effectively to the payroll team and broader organizational goals.
