Responsibilities
- Perform timecard audits to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws; review and sign off on timecards for accuracy and approval.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in UKG Pro, including new hires, terminations, benefit deductions, 401(k) elections, garnishments, tax withholdings, and direct deposit changes.
- Process retroactive pay and gross-up calculations for prizes, awards, and financial planning benefits.
- Administer severance payments in accordance with pre-established schedules and process termination and layoff payments as needed.
- Run pre-processing reports, assist in resolving pay issues as needed.
- Run post-processing reports and save integration files following payroll finalization to ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.
- Complete post processing tasks including the Hours Reconciliation, Payroll Comparison, Tax Reconciliation, Gross to Net Audit, Invoice Allocation, Plant Accounting Accrual Report, Multiple Worksite Reporting.
- Review and approve expense reports in Concur in accordance with company policy. Respond to expense-related inquiries and provide support to Associates as needed.
- Research and respond to payroll inquiries from Associates, internal departments in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with ad hoc payroll-related tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of payroll experience required.
- Experience with UKG Pro WFM is required.
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Workday and Concur experience are a bonus.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume processing environment with strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Pay
$26-28 per hour
