Payroll Specialist
About the role
We are seeking a **Payroll Specialist** to manage biweekly payroll processing, payroll tax reporting, general ledger postings, reconciliations, and compliance with federal and state regulations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting payroll audits, ERP and timekeeping systems, and continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a closely related area
- Hands-on experience managing full-cycle payroll, including payroll processing for large employee groups
- Working knowledge of multi-state payroll practices and payroll tax regulations
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable payroll platform
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to review, organize, and validate payroll data accurately
- Understanding of general ledger activity, reconciliations, and payroll-related accounting entries
- A high attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a dependable approach to meeting deadlines
