Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for multiple companies, including weekly payroll cycles for smaller entities
- Administer payroll systems, ensuring accuracy with wages, bonuses, and commission structures
- Manage employee benefits, including:
- COBRA administration
- Monthly benefit billing and invoice payments
- 401(k) uploads, audits, and reporting
- Open enrollment coordination
- Reconcile benefit billing and accounts receivable for subsidiary companies
- Produce payroll and benefits-related reports for audits (Department of Labor, insurance, etc.)
- Partner with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Provide onboarding support to new hires (payroll, benefits, leave policies)
- Assist with year-end payroll balancing, reporting, and compliance
Qualifications
- Payroll processing experience required (multi-entity preferred)
- Strong knowledge of general ledger and accounting principles
- Experience with Paycom, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office preferred
- Familiarity with Threadkore and Laserfiche is a plus
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
