Main Responsibilities
- Oversees time administration activities for North America
- Ensures high quality service delivery for all time system programs and policies
- Responsible for the successful time administration of payroll
- Ensures data/time is managed effectively between time keeping technology to payroll platform in an efficient and effective manner
- Works with Time and Labor team to troubleshoot any issues with data, interfaces or time clocks
- Analyzes biweekly time reports and variances, identifies system inefficiencies, and implements system/process enhancements
- Ensures time files are successfully managed to ensure timely payroll processing
- Manages time and payroll related projects to ensure system is legally compliant
- Manages requests, analysis, and project requests
- Manages relationship with local site Time Administrators, provides training and support, and keeps them apprised of eTime updates and changes
- Counsels team on service delivery and effective customer service
- Confirms pay codes, pay rules, and accrual profiles are configured to local labor laws and site policy
- Affords assistance with Tier 2 escalation and manages case load volumes
- Ensures internal and external tickets are resolved timely
Position Requirements
- Education: BA/BS in Management, HR, or relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: Minimum 4 years dedicated multi-state payroll experience with a large employer, Minimum 3 years leadership experience, Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information, Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail, Strong mathematical skills with ability to research, analyze, and correct time and payroll data, Experience planning, tracking, and managing projects, Ability to communicate in a precise and clear manner, Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal/external contacts, Knowledge of payroll practices in Puerto Rico and Canada is a plus, Industry experience: Desired - Experience working in mid/large complex environment
- Knowledge and Skills Required: Strong knowledge and understanding of various time and labor laws including overtime and meal period rules, Ability to understand functional needs of the business and effectively communicate them to technical resources with the third party vendor, Experience with 3rd party Time and Labor system such as ADP Enterprise eTime or Kronos supporting more than 1,000 associates, Required: Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel and Word, eTime or Kronos experience preferred, CPP or FPC preferred
