About the role
The El Dorado County Office of Education seeks a Payroll Specialist to support the diverse educational needs of the county's student population. The position involves preparing and processing payroll for assigned departments and programs under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll for assigned county office of education departments and programs.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of payroll data.
- Handle inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide assistance to employees.
- Adhere to state and federal regulations regarding payroll processing.
Requirements / Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of payroll or related experience, preferably within an education or public agency setting.
- Education at a level demonstrating the skill or ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
Skills
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
- Pay Range: $5,178.24 - $6,740.76 monthly.
